Clarissa and Christian agreed to have their After-Wedding shoot … before their wedding !!
It took place just days before their wedding.
The session felt even more special as they went back to the first hike they did together, and it was like tracing back the beginning of their relationship.

How did you choose Andalsnes as the location for this session?

From Cécile, the photographer: I was driving from Olden where I captured a wedding the day before. I have been in contact with Clarissa and Christian for a while now, and they highly recommended Andalsnes for its dramatic landscape, including the majestic road E136 leading to Andalsnes.
Sadly this road was closed at the time due to rock falling risks, but we were still able to enjoy some portion of it, and take pictures at different locations. Clarissa and Christian told me that they had their first hike together there, making the session even more special to them.

Do you require any special permits or permission from landowners to take photos here?

The spots we took pictures of are wild and do not require any permit. We went on paths and made sure to stay away from private locations.

how easy is Andalsnes to access? Is it suitable for all ages?

We stopped on several spots along the road E136, until it was blocked for safety reasons. Some were rather simple to access and we simply had to go down the hiking path, but others were more tricky and required to walk on rocks along the river. It is sadly not available for all abilities.

Any other advice or tips you’d like to share based on Your experience?

Simply because you decide to have your couple photos taken before your wedding does not mean that the emotions won’t be as strong on your wedding day. Clarissa and Christian enjoyed the opportunity of having their pictures taken before their wedding, which meant that they enjoyed their wedding to the fullest, knowing they had already beautiful pictures of them.
