What was the inspiration behind this styled shoot?

Maggy: To create a same sex luxury elopement picnic, inspired by celestial details and a deeply feminine and emotional vibe. Showing, that picnics can be intimate, luxurious and extraordinary!

What do you love about this location?

Maggy: The view! The terrace with the view over the lake to the historic castle is just stunning!

What Are Your top tips for planning a destination wedding/elopement in this location?

Maggy: Booking early, as it´s a popular wedding location and also booking a room at the castle hotel. Best way to extend the experience even longer and stay at the picnic until the stars shine bright late at night.

When is the best time of day/year to plan a destination wedding/elopement in this location?

Maggy: I’d say May-September are the best months.

Do you need any permits or permission from landowners for this location?

Maggy: Yes. You need permission from the castle. It´s a private event location and not open for public.

What advice would you give to others planning a destination wedding/elopement in this location?

Maggy: Checking out the location first, as there are many beautfiul spots there. Indoors & outdoors. The castle is freshly renovated and especially the park and the historic rooms are stunning for events!
