Stephany & Ian: If you know your wedding date a few months before, that’s a huge bonus — we didn’t and had to compromise on booking acommodation.

Ieva, the photographer: Book everything as early as possible, as accommodation is in high demand. While public transport is an option, renting a car would make it easier and more comfortable to explore the island. Most wedding vendors are based off the island, so don’t hesitate to reach out to those in Copenhagen or Svendborg.

What Challenges Did the Couple Face While Planning Their Elopement in Aero Island, and How Did They Overcome Them?

Stephany & Ian: We found it hard to find a professional make up artist and there’s not much variety of florists on the island (there are just a few shops around!).
