Alex & Mareike: We got engaged during a vacation in Norway and totally fell in love with the country, so we decided to come Back for our elopement. We decided to elope because we both wanted womething very intimate and personal for our wedding day.

How Did the Couple Personalize Their Elopement?
Alex & Mareike: We picked a photo location that included a short hike, as we do a lot of hiking together. Also we chose a photographer that we had a good vibe with, which allowed us to be our true selfs.

Alex & Mareike: No challenges really, maybe the fact that authorities in our home country are a little slow, what led to a tight schedule for getting the official paperwork done in time.

Alex & Mareike: Pack for different weather and be a little flexible regarding the location because of the unpredictable weather. Pick a venue and photographer you feel connected with, that makes the day so much fun and so memorable.
