Meet Rita

Tell us your story

I was born in Budapest, Hungary (80’s kid here), and I am very proud of my origins. I grew up in Paris when I was a kid during elementary school, and then in Rome since the late 1990’s. I was a lucky child, I have to admit. We traveled a lot and discovered several cultures, which allowed me to have a super open mind and respect for all cultures. The last places my parents lived were Morocco and Vietnam, and I loved to go visit and enjoy different lifestyles. I love to travel: my first trip was to Athens when I was 1 year old – I learnt how to walk there, on the marbles of the Parthenon.

Rome is where I got “stuck”, in some weird but amazing ways 🙂 yes – you got it, I came back for Love after a few years in Budapest — so when you’ll tell me about your long-distance relationship, I’ll totally understand.

I speak fluent Hungarian, French, Italian, and people usually say I am quite good in English (you’ll tell me, lol). It makes it sometimes confusing to think, but it’s fun.

I am awkward in front of the camera and you can obviously tell by this photo that my friend Arianna took of me. But I love holding my Nikon and taking photos, that really makes me happy.

Stuff I love and make me happy:

  • I am a huge huge horses lover. I met my best friend in school 20+ years ago because I was looking for a place to go horse riding 🙂 We have been best friends ever since.
  • Everything with glitter and/or pearls I love. If I could I would rock a glittery makeup every day. I also have loved headbands since I was 9! the Paris style got me young
  • Everything raspberry. Tangerine is my winter favorite fruit.
  • I love plants, I have quite a few orchids, and a *lot* of succulents.
  • I love working at my computer and have a tea or flavored coffee (yes, raspberry flavored is the best).

I am an MCU fan. I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Who’s your favorite? If you say Batman (although he’s DC), you’re awesome, too.

How long have you been working in the wedding industry?

I’ve been in the wedding photography industry since 2018. I initially started working with a colleague, but in 2019, we went our separate ways. That’s when I rebranded and launched my own business, Amor Vincit Omnia, which truly reflects my style and vision.

What made you get into weddings & elopements?

It all happened quite randomly. My former colleague invited me to collaborate, and I said yes, even though my previous experiences with traditional weddings—large and structured—were sporadic and haven’t been great. But as I explored more, I realized the wedding industry offered so much beyond 400+ guest events (that I still do not do). That’s when I discovered elopements and intimate couple sessions, and I completely fell in love with this side of the work.

What do you love about intimate weddings and elopements?

I absolutely love how effortless and intimate elopements feel—there’s no rigid timeline, no overwhelming crowds. Instead, everything flows naturally, allowing for more sincerity, spontaneity, and deeply authentic moments. It also allows me to connect more personally with everyone taking part of the elopement, whether it is just the couple or a handful of family and/or friends.

How would you describe your approach to your work?

I like to be well-organized, always having a solid plan—including a Plan B, just in case. While I appreciate structure, rules, and timelines (in life’s every aspect), I also embrace spontaneity and flexibility. If a couple decides to change their plans at the last minute, I love adapting to the moment. The creative freedom that comes with a small, close-knit group is incredible—it makes you feel like you’re part of something truly meaningful.

I have a special appreciation for capturing the little details—the raw, unscripted moments that often go unnoticed but carry so much emotion.

What’s your favourite part of a wedding day?

I love the ceremony and the couple’s session that follows. But I also have a special appreciation for capturing the little details—the raw, unscripted moments that often go unnoticed but carry so much emotion.

What advice would you give couples who are in the process of planning a wedding or elopement?

Reach out to local experts who can guide you to the best locations. Have a vision for your day, but stay open to changes—whether it’s due to weather, accessibility, or unexpected circumstances. Most importantly, choose a photographer you can trust, connect on a personal level, not only because you like their work, and enjoy every moment! 😊

When you’re not at a wedding, what do you love doing?

I love reading, spending time with my dogs, and being outdoors. I also really enjoy the post-wedding process—editing photos and working on the computer is something I find both fun and rewarding.

Do you have a dream wedding or elopement you’d love to do?

I’d love to shoot an elopement in a wild, remote setting—maybe in Ireland or the mountains. I’m always drawn to unique, out-of-the-box locations. Since I mostly capture urban elopements, a completely different landscape would be an exciting change of pace!
