Stephanie & David: Plan ahead of time. Research the areas you want to get married at and explore. Research the law of your local country and Iceland and how they work with each other other. Be prepared for any weather and research what areas you want to be at.
Nataly, the photographer: Coming to Iceland you need to work with locals who knows all the elements of weather. And come prepared! Bring all the layers and rainjackets 🙂
How Did the Couple Personalize Their Elopement?
Stephanie & David: We prepared our own vows prior to the ceremony. We chose the locations we wanted to visit during our wedding day. And we chose a specific location to have our ceremony.
What Challenges Did the Couple Face While Planning Their Elopement in Iceland, and How Did They Overcome Them?
Stephanie & David: Getting approval from Iceland to be married, was challenging, but it only took persistence and constant communication with our local country and Iceland. Another challenge we faced was losing our original photographer a week before but Nataly and Mike were readily available and made our experience wonderful.

Stephanie & David: Iceland was the best decision we made. There are multiple locations to choose from, depending on your preference of landscape and vistas. Nataly and Mike are a wonderful and professional team! They made our experience exciting, fun, and memorable!
