Being from Belgium, not many people there know what an elopement is, so this was such a strange concept for them to go off and get married with just the two of them, without having a “fancy, show-off” wedding. Tessa & Danté: We both love hiking and wanted to do something just for us. An Elopement was the perfect solution for Danté, who is a bit more introverted. The dramatic backdrop of the Swiss mountains just made it perfect.
We wanted our wedding to be more “us”—no seating charts, no stress, just the two of us, a beautiful spot, and all the love. Eloping felt like the perfect mix of romance, adventure, and skipping the awkward small talk with cousins we haven’t seen in 10 years.
