Vibrant & Colorful Wedding at La Tagliata in Positano

When I asked Alexia about the best adventure they had ever been on she said “I would say it’s the same adventure where we met you! I invited him to be my plus one at a wedding in France and proceeded to plan a European adventure for us to go on. He had never crossed any oceans before, but he was totally game and let me plan the entire tip. We started in Paris and worked our way down to Condom, then bounced over to Barcelona to enjoy tapas by the sea. From there, we trekked through Naples and found ourselves in Positano – where he promised to marry me someday! “
So it only seemed fitting that they would return to Positano a few years later to get married. Their wedding day was relaxed and intimate, with a touching ceremony on the terrace of the stunning restaurant, followed by a traditional Italian dinner, drinking and lots of laughter.
How did you Find your wedding Venue, La Tagliata?
I had been doing research on venues but all of the hotels we were looking at were overwhelmingly large or already booked. I’m in a Facebook group about women that love traveling and was searching for ideas on where to have the wedding when someone posted about their own wedding they had at La Tagliata. I looked up a few videos on YouTube and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. It’s also family-owned, which I adore, so everything is served family style – fresh from their garden. Plus, all the greenery, ahhh – it’s perfect!
Why Is La Tagliata A Great Wedding Venue?
La Tagliata in Positano is often considered an excellent wedding venue for several reasons:

Destination Wedding Planning Challenges
Alexia & Andrew had originally planned their destination wedding in Positano in May 2020. For obvious reasons, they were forced to postpone their wedding twice, waiting for when travel became easier again.
In the meantime, Alexia fell pregnant. However, after years of waiting, they weren’t going to let anything change their plans to have their dream wedding day in Italy, so Alexia, Andrew, the Bump, and their families finally all made the trip out to Positano in 2022.
The Wedding Day
On the day, the couple decided to get ready together, with their families around them. In late morning, the couple took a little walk around the streets of Positano for some time alone together, before taking a minibus up to their incredible venue, La Tagliata, where they held their ceremony and reception.
