We love to feature:

  • Real elopements
  • Intimate weddings with up to ~50 guests
  • Guest posts showcasing local knowledge

We also feature:

  • Honeymoon stories
  • After-wedding shoots
  • Vow renewals
  • Styled shoots (but NOT workshops)
  • Proposals

Please note: We only accept submissions for features that have taken place in Europe. The couple and/or the photographer submitting can be from anywhere in the world. But the elopement must be in Europe.

What we look for:

  • Diversity of age, race, gender, body type, sexuality, ability, religion, ethnicity, etc
  • A story – no matter what type of session, we want the photos to tell a story. We want to see a variety of images that showcase the locations, the couple, and the details.
  • Something unique – new locations, unique styles, etc
  • High-quality photography
  • Anywhere in continental Europe (including the UK) – in the city, on the beach, in the mountains, we love it all!

What we don’t want:

  • Features that didn’t take place in Europe
  • Images that show offensive or illegal behavior, cultural appropriation, trespassing, or don’t follow Leave No Trace.
  • Workshop images

Guest post examples

  • Tips for a wedding, elopement or honeymoon in your area (city, region, etc)
  • Personal experience stories from couples
  • Planning advice articles based on your area of expertise

FAQ

Got Questions?

While we prefer unique submissions that haven’t been featured elsewhere, we don’t insist on exclusivity. Please let us know if your submission has been featured elsewhere so that we can try to find the best time for it in our calendar. We do however ask that you don’t submit a feature to us that you have submitted to another blog and are still awaiting a response for.

Unfortunately, we can’t accept video-only submissions. We love video but we can only feature it alongside images, so please submit the link to the video when you send your photographic submission.

Yes, but we will only ask for this to be completed after your submission has been accepted.

I am aware that sometimes planners and couples want to submit their elopements to blogs. While this is ok, we MUST have the written permission of the photographer in order to publish the feature.

We aim to respond to all submissions within a month.

We do accept guests posts, however they must be in alignment with our blog values. For location-specific posts, we will only accept articles written by local vendors.
