Hi, I’m Maria, an elopement photographer based in Northern Norway.

I’ve been photographing elopements in Norway for four years, and honestly, I can’t imagine doing it anywhere else. Norway is home. I know the fjords, the mountains, the tiny roads that don’t show up on maps, and the quiet places where it’s just you and the wind.

I only take on a small number of elopements each year so I can give my full attention to every couple. I’m all about the real, unscripted moments. The laughter, the quiet, the little things that make your day yours. Most couples tell me they don’t like being in front of the camera, but by the end, they say it felt like spending the day with a friend who happened to have a camera along.
