Anina and Alex are wedding photographers in Germany and last September they planned their own destination micro-wedding at a hidden gem on the island of Mallorca.
Finca Son Togores is a beautiful estate located in the heart of Mallorca, Spain. This historic property dates back to the 13th century and is surrounded by stunning Mediterranean landscapes, including olive groves, vineyards, and gardens.

The estate features a traditional Mallorcan manor house that has been lovingly restored to offer modern comforts while retaining its authentic charm. An incredible place to say I do!

How was the location chosen?

From Lukas, the photographer: the couple chose this location based on a few things: it was the perfect size for the number of guests they were having, Mallorca is easy to reach from Germany and the Finca is breathtakingly beautiful.

When you have your wedding at this location, you do not need any permits or permissions and can take your photos around the property.

Both legal and symbolic ceremonies are an option here, which makes it a great fit for a variety of couples.

What is the best time of year to plan a wedding or elopement in Mallorca?

If you prefer hot Summer days, then the Summer months are great. If you prefer more moderate temperatures, then Autumn to early Spring are a wonderful time of year to plan something on this beautiful island.

While winter in Mallorca is considered mild, it is also the wettest season, with the island experiencing the majority of its rainfall during these months. However, even during the wettest months, there are still plenty of sunny days to enjoy, and the landscape remains lush and green but it’s definitely something to keep in mind!

Many of the tourist facilities and attractions in Mallorca remain open during the winter months, although some may have reduced hours or be closed for renovations. The winter season is a great time to explore the island’s cultural attractions, such as its historic towns and museums, without the crowds that are common during the summer months.
