For international couples, often an elopement can feel like the easiest option. That was the case for today’s wonderful couple. With the bride coming from the USA originally, many of her family and friends were unable to attend their wedding day in Stockholm. Since they weren’t interested in a big wedding anyway, they decided to plan a fun elopement in Stockholm that celebrated their story as a couple.

Their legal marriage ceremony took place at Stockholm’s city hall. Having met at the local kayak club, they knew they wanted to include this as part of their day. They also chose to travel by bike on their elopement day, as this was not only the most sustainable choice, but also their favorite way to travel around the city as a family.
